Ilim Group is one of the leading producers of pulp and paper in Russia: it reaches the top in terms of market share, production volumes and size of investments. For these reasons it is also one of the largest players in the industry on a global scale. This company operates in the areas of Arkhangelsk and Irkutsk, also with branches in Koryazhma, Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk and two corrugated cardboard plants in the Leningrad and Moscow regions. The total annual production of pulp and paper exceeds 3 million tons.
International Paper, the world’s largest producer of pulp and paper, is Ilim Group’s strategic partner for the Russian market. Ilim Group started its activity in Russia in 1998 and today is one of the most successful companies in Russia in the corrugated cardboard sector.
Ilim Group has chosen Celmacch to equip itself with a high definition printing machine.
The Chroma Evo 1700 line will be installed in-line with an Asahi flat bed die cutter. It will be equipped with 4 flexo printing units and a vacuum section for connection with die-cutting.
The HBL configuration and direct drive technology will guarantee maximum performance and maximum precision. This line will be equipped with anilox changeover device and drying system in order to allow Ilim to achieve high definition. The machine will be installed in the firsts months of the 2019.
